Disclaimer – Oiled tanned leather is a beautiful, soft, matt velvety leather which starts to shine with usage, has very less effect of moisture on it and lasts for generations.
It was originally developed for hunters and outdoor activities and durability is its main feature. But you may find a little bit of colour transfer on to light coloured clothing or materials initially. Just like a good pair of raw denims, very small amount of colour transfer will only happen for first couple of uses and will eventually stop with usage and time.
